Some pics from my visit to the new Star Wars Galaxy's Edge area of Disney's Hollywood Studios last week. Pretty cool place for Star Wars dorks. I had fun just looking around at all the stuff.
Olga's Cantina...a bar that of course you need a reservation for.

Millennium Falcon
Hondo Ohnaka is featured prominently in the new Millennium Falcon ride. He was up here talking and moving and giving us the spiel about the ride "mission."
Exiting the ride.
Rise of the Resistance ride...they immerse you into a First Order/Resistance story. This is Rey's vehicle in the ride queue.
Still in the ride queue.
The first room in the ride where Rey and BB8 tell us what's going on.
The next room where you're on a shuttle trying to escape. *spoiler: you get caught*
The next room, where you are brought onboard a Star Destroyer.
The last room before the actual rides starts. This is the coolest room at Walt Disney World. I walked in and was like "Ooooohhhhh, ahhhhhhh."

I was irrationally happy to get my picture with the Mandalorian. We were told not to approach him and he'd choose random people for photos, and there was a huge gathering of people waiting for a photo. I figured I had no chance and was going to leave, but Wife told me wait a minute and give it a try. He took me right away, much to my delight. The park access wristband on my right wrist is a Mandalorian one, which he spotted and I am guessing got me the picture. This made my day.
