Hi,

I'm in search of a steel frame which has :
1.5 headtube
horizontal dropouts
BMX sized bottombracket.

Does anyone know a frame like that?
The 1.5 requisite is the hardest thing I think...

Thanks!

PM Draco. He's been making custom steel hardtails and put out a few 1.5 headtubes and uses a bmx bb. Not too pricey and a good guy.

the 05 clifcat tankass was steel with a 1.5, and bmx b/b, I just checked their website to see if they still had it. I looks like they switched to alum for 06, you may want to hit them up and see if they have in 05's left.

check out www.clifcat.com

In the bathroom, fighting a battle
doberman bikes out of canada. they will do a 1.5 on anything and had some of the sickest looking frames at interbike. the geometry is straight from a 24 le-toy but all steel and some cool gussets on the top end model, think spiral around the tube. they should be available shortly but you should hit them up now to get an estimate

is a minuteman a 1.5" headtube?

If you dropped that silly requirement you'd have an easier time finding a good frame. The BMX BB and 1.5" headtube is a particularly strange combo in a frame.
