I initially met Steve when I asked him to coach some young kids in Dirt Jumping at the YMCA. The kids, of course, loved him, and I thought he was pretty cool then. But then seeing those pictures and hearing his positive words during such a painful recovery is truly inspiring.
There is all other men, and then there is Steve Wentz.
I speak for everyone at the YMCA and the Y-Riders when I say: braaaap! braaaaaaaaaaaaap! braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap!
Man, it sucks, lots of the Boulder/Denver locals are getting taken out recently, myself, Dave Camp jacked his wrist, MT gashed his arm, Ewer's elbow, we all need to get a little more luck, but hey, it's cool. We'll all heal up quick and take names next year racing and riding!
