As most of you know we are knee deep in the process with the Forest Service. We need to put together a email list of people that have interest in the Stevens Pass Bike Park. Your email would be put on a mailing list so that when it is time for public comment you will be contacted.

You can email bikepark@stevenspass.com and we will add you to the database. This is just a box set up for this purpose and we will not be responding to emails at this time. Please pass the word to all mountain bikers with interest!

Any questions please post here.

FYI, the majority of comments typically submitted during the EIS process, which I'm assuming you're going through, are negative in nature. The consultant preparing the EIS has to address each comment / theme presented during the comment period. Comments of pure support are helpful in that they affirm the purpose and need of the project, but aren't particularly constructive. Comments that won't help are as follows:

"This would be sick..."
"I'm so stoked..."

If you are going to comment, read the environmental document, and comment on the alternatives that are presented. Note what is good and bad about the preferred alternative.

If this is just a scoping comment period, then your comments should address specific needs. These might include trail width, materials to be used, grooming expected, hours of operation you want to see, etc.

Awesome that you guys are doing this.
