I've just had some wheels built up with Sun Double Track rims and want to remove a couple of the three humungous stickers from each side. What's the best method of cleaning off the residue from the sticker adhesive?

Brand Name: Goof Off, or any old bottle of Xylene in the solvent section of your local DIY store.

Slowly heat the sticker with a hair dryer. This should soften the adhesive
so you can gently peel the sticker away from the rim. If you have any
adhesive residue, remove it with wd-40.

...maybe it was virgin oil...dammit! I can't find the bottle now.
Or try nailpolish remover.
Use Goo-Gone Citrus Cleaner. It works very well and isn't toxic
Eucalyptus oil or tea-tree oil. Smells beautiful as well.
Rubbing alcohol? Anyone tried that? I'm trying to take the stickers off of my magnesium frame, but I'm afraid of stripping the paint off and opening up the frame to corrosion...
all you have to use is chain wax...white lightning works perfect....D

Nail polish remover is good too. It worked well for me but my frame is anodized...I don't know about painted frames.
