Anyone pull the decals off their frame? What about shop stickers? I want to strip my Trek 8000 of both. The frame stickers are over the clear coat, so some have peeled off easily, but is there a faster, more efficient way? I have a heat gun, but will that dork up the paint? I dont want to re-paint, just dump most of the stickers. Also, the shop decal is one of those retarded ones that come off in tiny peices, one at a time. Since it is from a shop I will never patronize again (W. suburbs of Chicago, let you guess from there) and I object to giving free advert for anyone, its got to come off.
Anyone got any great ideas?

Rubber cement thinner from an art supply store works.

There's some stuff called Goo Gone that works well.

Carbeurator cleaner. Works perfectly, and is cheap. Spray it on, wipe it off.

Blow dryer and then to remove the residue without F'n up the paint, cooking oil.

Seriously - WD40 works pretty well. Carb cleaner can eat paint.
