I removed some sticky stuff from a brake line recently with silicone spray. Low chance of it harming the paint or anything and it'll leave the frame nice and shiny. Might need to encourage the sticky stuff to come off with a finger nail or plastic scraper. I used the WD40 silicone spray stuff, but looks like regular 'ole WD40 might work?
Oh, hey, I've been around, posting the usual dumb stuff here and there. Saw 6thE last night for a beer as he was in town.
Its an aluminum frame, so a little heat won't hurt it. I'll start with a little WD40 for any residue and up the caustic chemicals as needed until the paint boils off and the aluminum melts, and my fingers drip like candles.
You can try using a hairdryer or heat gun to warm up the sticker and loosen the adhesive. Once it's warm, use a plastic scraper or credit card to gently peel off the sticker.
