I got this tip from my wife..............After the pain in the butt process of using a blow dryer to remove a sticker, you're usually left with that sticky residue. I used to use Goof-Off, which works well, but can damage the finish if not used correctly. So my wife recommends Vegetable oil (the stuff for cooking) just put some on a rag and rub away, after a minute all the residue is gone and no harmful chemicals to ruin the finish.:thumb:

if ya talking about the licence stickers on the inside of car windows the best way is to use wet paper... thoroughly wet a few pieces of paper and then wring them as dry as ya can... take the wadded up paper and put it against the sticker... come back in a few hours and the thing including the glue peels off... works best when it s warm.. haven t tried it in this miserable weather here...

WD40 works, too.
:stupid:

*alcohol is great if you don't want to chance the finish with wd40. You can also find someone that works in a hospital, and they can get these cool little pacds that remove it.

Alcohol doesn't always work well for me.

I usually use denatured alcohol, or in case of a really bad sticker problem, an oxy-acetelyne torch.
