I have a Hadley rear hub, and I've taken it apart. put slick honey on the interanls, and it feels great after that, but with in 5 minutes of riding it, it gets all sticky on me again. What should I do. Because it's sticky, the chain gets slack in it, and finds a way in between my rear tire and the chainstay.

Don't use any type of grease inside a hub(except for the bearings), just put a few drops of Phil Wood tenacious oil in.

Slick Honey is thinner/less sticky/tacky than Phil's. It works great on Hugi, King and other hubs. Someone else suggested 20wt fork oil. Haven't tried it, but sounds like a really good idea.

I still recommend using Phil oil before slick honey.

Slick Honey is not thinner than Phil's OIL. Read Brian's post and look at the picture.......OIL not Phil's GREASE.

Phil's is deffinately stickier. Maybe Phil's is denser? Having trouble I guess finding the right word to describe the differences. Its like cold mollases (sp?) is a liquid, but thicker than say jello, a solid. I'll shut up now since I like Phil's and Slick Honey.:D

Yea, I'll clean it again and try some Phil Oil. Thanks
So I put that Phil oil on it, and it seemed to help some, but my chain still is getting eaten up from time to time bythe rear wheel. It definately helped alot though. I think my chain is pretty worn out so...
