So recently i made a bike rack to hold the bikes(new apartment) its tight for sPace. I have them hung by the front wheel. Today i took them off and the suspension was all "messed up" the marzocchi forks all "reset" within a few minutes of being on the floor. The fox stuff felt like **** and after a few cycles didnt feel much better. Is it okay to store bikes this way. For reference it is like doing a wallride to fakie the position they are in

Takeaway for me was that sh!tty brakes can get messed up and that forks are generally ok after being cycled enough, and can actually be good for the seals.

Hang them verticly. My local shop hangs them vertically and they all work fine. I am hanging my one upside down right now so thanks demo 9 this could help me in the future.

But vertically is what I heard works best. Since it all has to do with the oil and what not in the fork being flipped

Fox has recommended setting your bike upside down to coat the foam rings and seals in lubrication. Even for a couple minutes it can improve the initial smoothness. Clearly demo9 is doing it wrong ;) what fox fork btw?

The 831 and the 32 float. Weird thing isthe rp23 felt like crap too. Im sure it will be fine but just wanted to make sure. Brakes are shimano- so no bleed issues there
