Strange HOPE MONO symptoms....

....OK, my mono mini rear brake has been exhibiting a strange symptom lately. If I squeeze the lever slowly & release it slowly, upon attempting to re-engage the lever, it now feels strangely firm....like too firm. It will barely move in it's throw before becoming very firm.....It looks like the caliper piston seems to stick. However, if I flick the lever quickly...it will return to a normal feel. I called Hope & they said that it sounds like it has an air bubble trapped beneath the bladder (from having the bike upside down)????? I would think an air bubble would make the lever mushier?????? anyway, anyone else experienced this with their mono's?

no, the rear brake on my mono is fine.....
...this isn't a Hope jabbing post. I love the brakes! They have performed flawlessly for nearly a year.....just wanted to resolve the anomaly :dancing:

...thanks bro, guess I'll give Hope a call in the AM.
I was going to suggest that - then you will be 110% sure.

I just buy my bleeding hose at this local plastic shop (Tapplastics.com) - I don't even know what size I need, I just know which one to buy by the visual size of it.

I think it's 3/8 overall diameter hose you want. My local hardware store carries it...so does Home Depot.
