My daughter is 2 and obsessed with bikes because I ride them. Is a strider the way to go to start out?

my 3 year old will not ride hers because it is missing pedals
she knows my bike has pedals so it just pisses her off

FWIW, I just took the pedals off a small bike for both my kids, then we were able to put the pedals back on when they were ready.

My little guy was on one from about a year and a half until he was three; was on pedals summer after he turned three. He took off right away without much help.

Both my kids used a strider a lot. Great way to introduce steering and balance concepts. I've seen quite a few used ones for sale if you look a bit.
