Do you exclude the bottom out bumper on the Fox RC when you are measuring stroke length and measure all the way to the end of the metal rod or do you measure from the shaft to the beginning of the bumper? Also, does anyone know if the stroke length was different from the 2000-2001 medium Bullits vs the smalls? I used to have a 9" x 2.75 on my medium '01 Bullit but I have decided to back to the stock Fox RC. I feel like I am either bottoming the seat or the seatpost clamp on my rear tire, so I want to make sure my shock off of a small Bullit is a 2.25" stroke just like the medium frame. The eye to eye is definitely the same. Thanks for the help. :D

I spoke to Santa Cruz and I have the correct shock on the bike. Anyone else have bottoming problems with this setup? I have the correct spring rate as well and there is about 25% sag fully weighted. :mumble: Thanks again.

Measure the length of the shaft without regard to the bumper. Pretend it's not there and measure from the seal at the shock body to the end of the rod.

Dunno anything about Bullit specs, sorry.
