So my computer lacking friend has asked me to post up and see what ya'lls opinion of the strongest parts are. He's the type that heads to Whistler every day off to reach another level of riding. So far he's been through 3 linkage kits, two forks, several wheels, and some other stuff.

He's finally happy as he got ahold of a new setup with all saint stuff but he just bent both his rims on Wed.(Mavic 721 ex's) Were not really sure how it happened and it is rideable for now(after a few bends back ;) ) but he's on the hunt for some beefcake rims to be laced to his new saint hubs.

Any suggestions from the guys who push their equipment to the potential is choice! Thanks ahead of time and see you on the trails.

Old school 321s can not be beat. I think the 02 Dee Maxxes with 36 straight pull spokes are one of the strongest set of wheels I have owned. I have a spare newer set if interested.

how about trying to ride smoother:think:....D
lol, smooth, Jacob??? Yeah right! No he's pretty smooth, he just charges through everything and overshoots alot of stuff so he brakes things like you wouldn't believe. Last time we were up at Whistler(Wed.) he overshot one of the larger tables trying to get enough air to pull off a no footer can-can, he is also working on clearing the box so everytime he comes up short the bike takes the beating. When it comes to stepping up to that next level you have to first get up onto it before you can work on it being smooth. If he was breaking sh!t by being the norm out there then yeah, I'd be harping on him for riding smoother but he's pretty smooth at the level he's at, it's when he takes it to that next level is where things start breaking...

so far the best rim for me has to be the intense mag 30. my rear wheel takes one hell of a beating and this thing is still holding up. before this rim my rear wheel lasted me about 2-3 months. so far this thing has take more abuse than any of those other rims and its still in one peace.

before you other people tell me to be smoother. sometimes its hard to be smooth and gentle when you weight 240lbs and you ride a hardtail that you take 10' drops with!
