PC, Mac and Xbox

It's based on the engine from Halo: Combat Evolved (the first one), with some enhancements. It's a third person game, not first person. Different engine than Halo 2 - that uses the Havok physics engine.

You get to eat brains, and your detached hand can attack people.

Yup, Wideload is an offshoot of Bungie, a bunch of the "original" guys who started with Bungie, the guys who made the Marathon series. They moved back to Chicago (where Bungie is from) and founded Wideload.
First game to use the Halo engine, I'm interested to check it out...
