I'm hoping to be there between 1-3pm, depending on how quickly I can motivate myself out the door Friday morning.

The years I've been on Ridemonkey, never have gone the the Monkeyfest. It's not for lack of desire - I do make several trips to the Kingdom every summer. The group I ride with just so happens to be going the same weekend as Monkeyfest. The Bubbas (from Maine) will be on the trails, and loud at the campground. Perhaps I'll cross paths with the monkeys at some point.

If you'll be there the same weekend and actually take to riding the trails, there is little chance you will NOT see a ridemonkey jersey at some point.

Waiting for my passport to be returned to me. I had to send it in to get upgraded to a full passport in order to fly to Canada for work. Unfortunately that need won out over my desire to make a Bromont run while at M'Fest. If I get it back before the 15th I'd still like to go, I think my guest is interested as well.

We'll be there Thursday. Do we have any idea what time the lodge will be open for us? This is my first year staying at the lodge, so I am utterly clueless as to how you guys run this whole thing.

Lodge is usually open ~1pm to us, call me when you get there if we're not there before you.

Edit: See Treesaw's post, 2pm no earlier.

You can park at the ball field to ride earlier, but not at the lodge until after 2pm please.

Matt just bailed on me but my friend Laudy said that he will attend in his place. Laudy is a bit on the odd side (he would be first to admit this), but a super nice guy, good rider and he likes to drink beer. We will arrive some time Thursday afternoon or evening.

Hey, do you guys reserve one of the sleeping areas for snorers? I don't think I'm a noisy sleeper but my wife tells me otherwise.

Anyone have any specific sticker requests?

We can actually make some custom stickers using the RM logo/text if anyone who will be there wants any special sizes, shapes, configurations, etc.

That's really nice, thanks. Taking an idea from Randee and mudgirl, How about the logo with text around the outside that says something like "Monkeyfest 2010" across the top and has the username across the bottom?

Or some frame sized logos, ~1.5" (38mm) tall?

I really like the first proposition, one for each participant would be really nice to have.... I'm sure Melou and me (had to make sure you get both our user name;)) would like to get some, I'd prefer mine in the traditionnal Monkey green color if possible...

    A late suggestion:

Got parts you want to sell or swap? Toss them in with the rest of your gear and bring them to Monkeyfest - I have a surplus Psylo fork and an XT chainring that are of no use to me...

Someone want to start a post that summarizes the sticker requests? If we can get all those in one place, then next wednesday we'll make up all the custom stickers and I'll throw 'em in the car.

Picking up BV at the airport friday at lunch. Can't wait to see you guys!

Kegged a braggot and a rye-ipa yesterday for Monkeyfest. They're both knock-you-down-drag-you-out in terms of ABV. The Braggot is >10.5% and the IPA is >9.5%.

Oh, I'm also bringing a hefeweizen and a pilsner for the lightweights, those are both lawnmower beers <5%.

No, these were always intended to be Monkeyfest beers, you were going to get a preview for your birthday. I'll let you have some but you're going to have to beat the other monkeys to them.

Wishing I was still back east so I could rip the trails with you all this weekend. Swilling beer, flat tracking, moon shine, and bean dip, all with a healthy dose of singletrack.

Damn I wish I was there!

So, I've been absent from the thread for a while. I'm going to be showing up friday night with a guest.
