Is anyone running those new MTX rims with a tubeless setup, if so how is it working? I tried to keep my flatspot happy 823s for the whole season but that didnt happen, the rim/spokes are so messed up from the flatspots the wheel cant be horizontally trued anymore, and when i went to try and true it yesterday, i losen a few spokes and ping ping ping, the rim cracks ar the eyelet and the eyelet pops out, im done with these stupid things

Why are you gonna bother getting new rims? You should just get a whole new bike. Oh wait... you already tried that. :p

Michelin was using the MTX rims with Stans for a bunch of the pros at Snowshoe. They said it worked great.
I have been too lazy to order any Stans, so I am just running a DH tube for now.

I'm using MTX rims with stans some of the time. I've had very good luck with it. Tires aren't too hard to get on and it seals easily. Tires stay seated and it doesn't leak. I used a stan's rimstrip and an Arrow Ramped Bite Tubeless tire with no sealant and didn't have any problems. Keep reading if you'd like to purchase this rim.

I have an extra MTX rim that I bought at the beginning of the season as an extra and haven't needed it. Let me know if you want to buy it. email me snowboardere@yahoo.com

as in a BMX tube cut open and streched on, or having homie g from da green put my tire on and say, der das tubeless bro

well actually here it would be "ahi tini tu turle logo" but yea i was thinking cut open bmx tube although on the mtx you can get away with a bmx tube with a hole on the other side of the valve, just get the most plain vanilla tube and it should stretch juuust from side to side on the rim.

Hey, I've seen those rims and they look pretty sweet. Problem is, I've not been able to find out any information on them as I have not found them anywhere. How much do they weigh? How much do they cost and where are you guys buying them?

I need to build up a new set of wheels as the old Rhyno Lites are nearing their end. I want some rims that are lighter than my D321's but are still fairly strong. Those MTX rims look brilliant in all black and all.
