Is there a special tool I need to take the axle body out of the hub so i can overhaul it? One side has a flange I can get a 17mm cone wrench on but the other side is tucked into the bearing, almost as if its pressed in there, the axle body has 2 groves in it. I am trying to get the cassette body off, thanks

IF memory serves correctly, you just stick a big screwdriver or a nickel or something like that in the two grooves, and turn it. Should unscrew.

The only special tool I remember using on it was to get the c-clip off.
Then, it was done by hand. If you are just replacing the pawls, it is a
super easy thing to do. Sorry, if you doing something else and this was not useful. ;)

See thats what has me confused, I have looked at it a few times now, a screw driver would have to be huge, maybe ill try a nickle or something, I have had this hub for a few years now so i just wanted to check it all out, at least grease the thing up, maybe replace the sealed bearings, who knows, just want to overhaul it, but getting it a part is the first task!
