Howdy. Still lingering sick, for a month or so now. I think I'll call in sick tomorrow, which is kind of a non-event since I'm on academic time/not on clinical service tomorrow anyway (so no one needs to cover for me--everyone will collectively shrug instead).

7 of 15. Run killed me. Started swim in 10 (later wave), came out in 7. Bike went well. Don't have places there yet. Run was 10:16 avg. Was just spent. I need to work on eating during the bike. I'll have my official placing probably tomorrow.

Drove around the Woodstock's old festival area with roof off, cycling yesterday took advantage of my strength. Enough play beginning the incoming work week on Monday.

Apparently I did much better than I thought.

2:57:37 total - that's 1:20 back from 9th place. His transitions were 1:45 quicker. Ain't that a bitch.
My goal was 2:50 and upper third. I slightly missed on time, but really missed on place.
*Wifey just pointed out that I didn't add transition times into my target. When I back those out, I beat my goal.

9/21 bike
14/21 run
You can see where I started to bonk. I should have done better on the bike.

110 hilly miles on the road bike today. Getting ready for heading out to Park City and then Utah in a couple of weeks for some epic riding.

I have no idea where I am
Got all dressed and loaded up to go ride and my stomach started to swell up and hurt. Went to lay down for a bit and slept for four hours. Hope it's just some bad mexican and not something worse. Never thought I say this, but hoping for the sh!ts.
