Sabrosa Festival today. We'll, assuming that I can go. The remaining kidney stone started passing around 4am today and has been killing me for the last 2 hours. We're supposed to head over around noon, so?

You know the old saying, "When the wife is away, I sleep like a motherfucker." That can be applied to the past two nights. Of course the goddamn DOG had to go and ruin things by making me getting up 8:00 this morning, thus limiting last night to just 11 hours. :( Speaking of the dog, I made pancakes this morning and gave her one.

Got a 10K race at noon. These things usually take place in the morning, and if today was the case, it would have been sunny and cool. But since it is at noon, it'll be dumping rain and cold. Good thing it's short and is only a few miles from my house.

First world cup in the books. Made the kids french toast and they were fixated on the race while eating. Made myself eggs with some smoked pork shoulder shoulder from a co-worker. Topped with pepper jack and guac. Wife still sick in bed.

F1, WCDH, footy.
That's my morning on the sofa lined up.
Watching WCDH with Haley and I notice that the top women are all larger than their bikes. It's clearly the inverse on the bottom end. Has anybody else seen this?

Big enough to ride their bikes vs. riding on their bikes? For men only Danny and Troy are really small, but men are stronger so it offsets to neutrality.
Depends on the geometry, but I was listening to an interview and she said 29ers are definitely faster. She has the advantage of being able to fully customize her frame geometry.

Slept in:Alcoholic:. I have a friend covering as the horse show EMT because I still have a cast on. He had to get up early instead of me:banana: . I will drop by around 10 to watch a good friend compete then go off to lunch:headbang:. Wife rides at 1:40 down in San Diego then packs up for the 9 hour drive home. Probably will roll in at 1am.:bonk:

Hunger over, going riding. Finished building the new banshee. That was a long slow build. :dead: Must avoid interwebs before watching the DH race.

Sun is shining strong here.

I think it's time to get rid of the DHR :(

For the vintage DH folk, just by chance while watching men's DH finals, Snapcase - Caboose came onto Spotify. Caboose during Maribor... throwback. If you don't know the reference it's from Transcontinental - the 1999 World Cup race video.

In hell. Welcome!
Rode this morning before rain. Millerica is in a decent shape except for a few swamps and mud holes. Bent a rear rotor against a rock when rear wheel sank deep into mud, brake lever seems to be fuckered as well. Oh well.

Sweet good kidney stones hurt. Easily to the 6/10 scale of pain and that's with pain killers. Wifey left with friends for the concert without me because my ass can barely stand. Babysitter had a good chuckle about watching the girls while I'm upstairs wanting to die.

Refinishing the floors at camp in Maine.
1000 sq/ft done, belly full of poutine and bourbon have me ready to knock out another coat. May need to work out some aches in the shed for good measure.

Do you know if folks still ride Beverly Farms and Lynnwoods?

I now have 2 Turntables and a Microphone. Just need to find a belt for the Technics and figure out why the Phono preamp is not syncing with the Yamaha.

I gave up; after 12 hours back to the hospital. The pain was too much. Getting another CT scan to see if it's lodged and they put me on morphine. Still hurts, but I can ignore it -ish.
