Saw Of Monster and Men in concert last night and they were great live. It was in an old concert hall that burned down some years ago and has been rebuild to new glory and it was cool to be back. A lot of big names has played there over the years especially in the 60s like Hendrix and The Beatles. Today I will spend one of the few sunny days driving to a 70 year birthday party

Copper today. No traffic so cruiser speed all the way. Stopped for breakfast in Frisco; chocolate chip pancakes ftw

HEY. lmao 16 mile run this morning. I wanted to quit two miles into the damn thing but hung there and had a good run (7:10 pace). Then had friends over for brunch and stuffed my face.

90 degrees in LA today. So I’m hitting the urgent care and then the pharmacy for a round of drugs and a flu shot (unrelated). I’m really just here faking it for the AC. Going to the movies to keep cool is too mainstream for me.

Interesting end of the afternoon. Checked the Strava from our skiing and the top speed was 28mph, which means that was Haley's top speed too, because I was behind her trying to keep a steady gap the whole time we had it on. Getting her ripper on for sure.

World Cup race training was going on at Copper this weekend so she was psyched to maybe see Michaela Shiffrin. Unfortunately she wasn't there today, so she couldn't see her.

REI replaced my Thule box, even though I was just outside of my 1yr warranty, because the actuator arm that holds the box open sheared in the middle. Got my credit back and bought a new Yakima Skybox 18 to replace it - $8 for a new, better box.

I also dislike it when the box shears right open in the middle. Very troublesome, that

Just booked second attempt ticket to see Ford v Ferrari tomorrow night. Last night’s attempt was aborted by an unwell feeling kid (who then proceeded to flail all night long—at least she slept well), and had that not happened I’d showed up to the wrong theater anyway.

:D
