Just another guy with a Sunday issue. 2 issues I'm hoping someone here can help me with.
#1- my lower pivot(link/triangle) has a LOT of play in it. It has new bearings, and the shaft looks good to the eyeball. I can't figure out why there would be so much play after tightening. Am I missing something? Parts right now go...bolt-washer-bearing-shaft-bearing-washer-bolt.
#2- my upper left pivot(link/triangle) has a problem. the triangle and link are grinding into eachother. And the bearing on that side can be taken in and out with my fingers. Shouldn't it require a press? It "appears" to my untrained eye, that the bearing is moving outward which is allowing the grind to happen. So....what now? I can shoot pics if anything is unclear. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My lbs has thrown in the towel on these problems.
