Ha sic.Dampening [sic]?
There's this place up in canada......it's pretty small, you may not have heard of it......starts with a W I think.....I seem to remember some big elevation.....I think it is because you would melt your rotors From the top of North Peak down may not take long on skis, but it is pretty long on a bike.
You must be one of those a-line lapping little jump monkies.Pssshh.. Whistler is far too buffed out to compare to the ragged gnar that is Sunday River.
He can rip it on the FOES for old times sake...Chris- Are you getting back into riding? Saw you at the gym yesterday, and you looked like a man possessed on the stationary bike. Skip (from HI) is coming to town this weekend, and we're heading out on a 5-day road trip to hit Highland Mountain (NH), Attitash, Bromont (with an overnight furlough in Montreal , Whiteface, and Killington. You're welcome to join us at any/all of the stops if you've got the time.

Yeah I am getting back into the jig actually. I don't have any bikes right now and I figured I'd wake up the old legs at the gym. It's a lot easier now that I've left my C-Chunk persona behind. I would love to rip it up with you guys but I've got to go to some wild party at my grandmother's. I'm sure we'll hook up soon and do some really sique.Chris- Are you getting back into riding? Dude I still have the foes, thing is SIC.Nice, man. Sounds like Weagle's got you hooked up with a bike, so that's cool - last I heard, he had eleventy-seven different samples and protos in his garage, so you should get something cool.
I'm traveling a bunch over the next few weeks for work, but I plan to hit up either Highland or SR on the 31st. We should try to track down Reggie and get him to join us; I bet that old ProFlex and his Fox roost guard are still sitting in his parents' house somewhere.
Don't get too f-ed up on punch at your grandma's house.

P.S. Dave- I think you actually rode that Foes more than Chris ever did.
Be careful with bikes in Montreal, I've heard a few stories of bikes dissapearing up there. Actually, be careful w/ your car as well, Montreal is one of the worst cities for car theft b/c of the sea port being right there. Enjoy bromont though, that place has built something new every time I head up.Chris- Are you getting back into riding? Thanks for the heads-up. We're staying at a hotel with private underground parking right beneath it. And we're probably bringing the bikes right into the room.Be careful with bikes in Montreal, I've heard a few stories of bikes dissapearing up there. YES! See you all up there Friday.Just to let you boys know they are definitely opened this friday!!!! f'in aay!!!
here's an excerpt from teh Sunday river website!!!!
"Popular demand played a big part in the decision to offer mountain biking right away, said Dana Bullen, general manager at Sunday River. The return of mountain biking to Sunday River is just the first step in growing our four season amenities in the coming years.
A fleet of new Kona downhill mountain bikes have been ordered and are expected to be available for rent within the month. All rider services and tickets will be available at the South Ridge Lodge with lift service on nearby North Peak. Limited services will be available on the first weekend of operation with additional services including a full service repair and rental shop becoming available by late August. Full details will be available at www.sundayriver.com.
Downhill mountain bike trails including Grease Monkey, Moose Tack and the Crater Trail wind their way down from the summit of North Peak. In total, Sunday River will offer 20 miles of trails of varying difficulty levels with lift service on the Perfect Turn Express Quad. Additional downhill and cross-country routes will become available through the month of August."

Oh man, I remember it like yesterday. This section, no brakes, going so fast your tires screech when you backside the rocks. I can't wait.
