Interesting, isn't it?
Garage cleanup day 2. Wife and I have done more in the past 2 weeks to cleanup the in-laws house than they have in the past decade. So. Much. Stuff.
@johnbryanpeters, I feel for you having to do this solo.
when they cleaned out my uncle leo's house after he had passed....they found more tools in his dressers than clothes....Interesting, isn't it?
Sure is. I've resolved to never let myself get to this point.Interesting, isn't it?
My head is pounding from the show. I don't drink, so I can only assume it's the standing outside and sucking down smoky air for six hours. I blew my nose this morning and you would have assumed I had crashed in pumice, there was so much dust/smoke/ash. All the bands were struggling, their voices blowing out, even more so than altitude normally does to them.
Fuck your Air Quality Index!
My eyes are on fire. Probably gave myself Emphysema walking the dogs this morning.
We found tons of crazy shit in my wife's father's house after he passed unexpectedly.Sure is. I've resolved to never let myself get to this point.
We've found 5-6 complete sets of unopened cookware, multiple chicken rotisserie cookers, probably 3 dozen cake pans, 4 or 5 complete sets of fine china, 2 dozen random chairs. That and tools, so, so many tools. My FIL owns probably 5 miter saws. It's madness.
On the flip side, we also found $3K worth of salt cellars, and were gifted a solid oak roll top desk, so I suppose I can't complain too much.
As much as riding the trainer sucks, now it the time to setup the trainer inside and spin. There is no reason to go outside in general right now...After never smoking, I think I'm a 20 a day man after riding in that crap yesterday. Sinuses seem inflamed this morning from it.
I've had to veto a bunch of houses we looked at cause no/not enough shop space. I must have a space to do things. We found tons of crazy shit in my wife's father's house after he passed unexpectedly.
Lots of tools. I took a bunch, but wish I had space for more. Like the full sized drill press.
I'm gonna angle for a standalone garage / shop at our next house.I've had to veto a bunch of houses we looked at cause no/not enough shop space. I must have a space to do things.
It's a decent way to go. Pour a pad and have one of those metal outbuildings. No trying to carry a table saw down into a basement, no noise and disturbances for the family. Some day...I'm gonna angle for a standalone garage / shop at our next house.
Ideally yes. It's a decent way to go. Pour a pad and have one of those metal outbuildings. No trying to carry a table saw down into a basement, no noise and disturbances for the family. Some day...
I did a slab with 5' of foundation under it. Slabs on gravel fail rather rapidly. It's a decent way to go. Pour a pad and have one of those metal outbuildings. No trying to carry a table saw down into a basement, no noise and disturbances for the family. Some day...
What's code up there? I know your ground freezes deeper/longer than it does down here.I did a slab with 5' of foundation under it. Slabs on gravel fail rather rapidly.
5'. Most everybody does 4.What's code up there? I know your ground freezes deeper/longer than it does down here.
I didn't know she was a race car driver too! Nice...And to top off the weekend Ruth competed at Grand Prix yesterday and today and came in first both days. She be happy so I be happy
I see a correlation!?holy hell am i in terrible shape. on my own personal struggle bus on the climbs today. but still a day in the hills is the best, as are creek beers after.
And you laugh at me for using a stationary trainerholy hell am i in terrible shape. on my own personal struggle bus on the climbs today. but still a day in the hills is the best, as are creek beers after.
That's one of the reasons we laugh. And you laugh at me for using a stationary trainer
Some might but I don't. I have a decent (if dated) CyleOps Bike trainer that I almost never use due to lack of fun factor. Indoor training takes more discipline than I currently possess. I never walked a climb when I was using it.And you laugh at me for using a stationary trainer
still willAnd you laugh at me for using a stationary trainer
nah...it's because i've only been doing short local rides or lift assist for the last 3 months. plus it was in the 80s and 93% humidity. creek beer rejuvenated me! and the little fish in the creek swarming our legs to nibble the salt and blood was pretty funny too.I see a correlation!?
I initially read that as if there was no comma after the ‘fuck’, and it seemed a little harsh…Fuck, you guys and gals… mountain biking is really fun.
