Morning monkeys. LONG day at our first home meet of the season yesterday. Wasn't a great meet for Alex. She won bars, 2nd on vault and floor, third on beam and ended up 2nd overall. Today I have a big pot of homemade tomato soup to start on in between lessons and probably going to tap some trees to prep for syrup.

I know MI skiing sucks. Waiting in traffic making a 2.5hr drive 4-5hrs, paying $200+ for a lift ticket and then spending the day standing in line instead of “skiing” and then stopping for a $35 bagel and a $20, $2 can of beer sounds waaaaaaaaaay better. My 1.75 hour drive on Friday was 2.5 hrs on Friday night… but because it was snowing and thus people were slow down the pass.
