High dollar horse show was high dollar horse show. Girls had a good time. I'd forgotten how insufferable those things are. Not to take away from the event itself. Pro-level jumping is amazeballs, but good god the white snobbery that surrounds it........

I hate getting up early on the weekend but i have to go into the office and modify a power lift gurney with some new bariatric capable fold out side rails. It's going to hit 100 today so getting it done before the heat hits.

Hot, dry, thin air. Feels nice to be home
We, on the other hand, got to the airport around 9:30 for an 11:30 flight, a flight that is currently scheduled to depart at 5:45. Gah.

I blame @Pesqueeb somehow. It's a 772 that broke but still somehow he is responsible.

Used a chain saw today. One of the perks of owning land. I was rewarding. Forced the boys to do some manual labor post chain saw clean up. They were very tired and upset about cuts to the legs. Damn city boys.

772? Wow. I can't believe they're still flying those!

;)
They went into service in 1995, for United, even. Could be this very plane of mine that is broken...

We are old.

A sunny sunday afternoon, with a slight breeze and moderate temps....Kind of weird that I was the only person parked here. Had the place all to myself, no complaining here.

In hell. Welcome!
Back home from a great weekend @ friend's on Cape Cod. It took me 3 1/2 hours to get there on Friday (avg speed ~20MPH) and 1:45 to get back home. We rode bikes, spent a day on a boat, did sea kayaking, ate a bunch of meat and drank gallons of quality booze. #damntheboomers Will bang again until they move to FL.

Baby otters in the creek. Water is still pretty high and cold. Usually this time of the year I can walk the creek. Not this year.

Ride was meh. I just wasn't feeling it. I intended a 25 mile, 2600 vert ride, it turned into a twelve mile 1500 foot ride. Hopefully my last ride on this Altitude, I'll believe it when I see it!
