Dave Garland (the head mechanic of the Giant DH team) has now conversion kits for your Air forks.

This sounds really interesting, at least to me. I am a big fan of hydraulic bottom outs, so this could be a real performance booster for your Rockshox fork. Not sure about the two different coil weights, though.

Looks pretty sweet to me, especially for the shorter travel forks (Pike, etc.) that don't currently offer a coil option. The lightweight coil would make the weight gain easier to swallow, and the hydraulic bottom out would be the ta tas on forks that are currently relying on a fat stack of tokens that can have some negative handling implications.

Stacked springs have been in use in motorsports for eons.

I did the same thing with a 20" BMX suspension fork in the 70's

Am interested in how it works out, and if he will expand offerings to other double crown forks.
