apparently the notion of rotational inertia wasn't taught when N8 was in school. this simple concept baffles him as if he's trying to solve partial differential equations.

I just half-typed a post but realized it's not worth it

It'll be discarded without any factual basis for doing so.

Lets not confuse poor N8 with "mere" facts, science, or physics of rotating bodies.........that would get in the way of blind dogma...........LOL

conversly tho, once you've got them rolling, they'll stay rolling with less effort than small, lighter wheels, yeah?

That whole, objects in motion thingy Newton blabbered about.

Considering that most people don't produce even power throughout a pedal revolution the wheel is constantly accelerating/decelarating.

objects in motion isn't about accelerating, yeah?

yes, they will have more rotational interia (so once they are up to speed, it takes more to slow them down), but no one ever suggests that heavier wheels are a good idea as an upgrade, do they?

and as previously stated they do have less rolling resistance to bumps on the trail. that said, N8's main performance claim re: 700cc wheels is this laughable 'accelerates through the turns' crap...probably the biggest thing they are worse at as compared to 26" wheels.

so in regards to N8's post about a 'narlus'-type review of the F150, i think a stronger caveat would be a 'N8'-type review about virtually anything.

So you're saying the braking sucks?
