i would like input from people who raced comfort dh this year and those who will race it next year.
i have been told that they may be no dh race next year. instead they want to do the Super D

"The Super D is a hybrid cross-country/downhill competition. This race can be contested with individual starts, as in downhill events, or a Le Mans mass start. The course should be 12-20 minutes in length and the start should be higher in altitude than the finish line. Courses should have significantly more descending than climbing, be void of any jumps, and not be extremely technical. A full-suspension cross-country bike would be ideal for this type of race
i am discussing doing possible both, but the dh will be the weekend before the rest of the races.
i think this super d is a good idea but not at the sacrifice of the dh race.
also i will be calling a trail work day (more like to discuss course options) soon. i would like the austin crew to come out.
