I know of a set of '03 Super Ts that have an issue with the clamp that goes over the axle. On the brake side there is a small lug that is part of the casted outer and a retainer type clamp pivots in it and secures at the front using a sort of t-bolt setup. This lug is missing (knocked off the bottom of the leg) so there is currently no way to use the tab that comes over the axle. Looking at the area where the axle sits in the fork (bike upside down looking at the side of the fork along the axle) the semi-circle space is more than 180 degrees, maybe more like 220 degrees, so there is physically no way you can pull the axle straight out, it has to slide out left or right like any other 20mm axle setup using pinch bolts.
Has anyone had this same issue and ridden the forks significantly without the axle popping out ???
