Does anybody know if the E13 SUpercharger will fit the Karpiel Armageddon ? I have been told by a friend that only the 32-36 version of the Supercharger will fit, since the other E13 bashguards will hit the rear swinger ! Since I do not have anywhere around where I can see or measure the E13 bashguards, - I would like to know if it is possible to fit the 40T Supercharger or if it will interefere with the rear triangle......I am kind of lost here, - did not think it would be a problem, but when told so I have to admit I do not have a clue !?!?!?!

Also,- would that mean that the biggest chainring I can use is a 36 ??? (odd)

Any ideas ??

You will have to cut it to fit, but it works.

can't you just bend that soft untreated aluminum swingarm away for clearance?

yea i was running the biggest one, 44t or 42t can't remember. changing it to one of the ones i won on ebay.
i always thought, because of the design, the karpiel needed to run a 40-42 tooth chain ring for the suspension to work. Brian told me differently, so gonna run a 36tooth. with smaller super charger.

So if I want to run a 40T Supercharger it is no problem ???

Vitox on that Army, thats a Ti spring on the avy rear shock, any chance you could get pics of inside the seat mast? so we can see the clearance of the spring and such.
thanks

There are very little clearance when you mount the Ti spring. Just did, and had to grind down approx 1mm on each side of the seat-mast supporters......but then it works!

its a romic 450lbs spring and yes it has to be modded to clear the upper links, it juuust passes between the seat mast supporting piece.

pd: the use of a dremel only started after the guy had gone through one half good and one new file, take that into account and be patient.

well there wasnt any problem with the seat mast support, the rub was with the upper links, maybe there were an old version, i know the disco links had the same problem and it got fixed with a latter revision where there was a cut-out.

anyway its a romic 450 and it has at least 1mm clearance on both ends as far as the seat mast thingy goes.

a stratos 450 ti would rub bigtime on those same supports though, dont know about the avy spring.

When I had the Ti spring on my Disco it hit the lower links too, not a lot you can do. That problem was solved with modifiying the seat tower brace and using the longer spring retainer.
