Bummer to hear about your loss. I bought a Pany TH-50PHD7UY back in Nov. I too didn't see any need for built in speakers, reciever, etc... since I have my own components and an in-wall 5.1 sound system. I have been enjoying it a lot... thanks for the link to the AV website you sent me!
Hope you get everything replaced soon. I see that what I spent $4500 for 6 months ago, can now be had for under $3700. Be nice to pick up a 60" Panny but they are way too spendy yet!
