Sorry to be talking about winter already, but a guy's got to plan ahead.

Does anybody know/have the means to test whether a Surly Endomorph/Large Marge combo will fit into a Pace rigid 29er fork? Hoping to fat front my bike for winter and would prefer to not have to get another fork and/or build a front wheel with a rear hub. Even if someone had a Pugsley and could measure the actual width of the tire that would be great (I know the diameter won't be an issue). Is it truly 3.7" cause that would be a damn close fit by my measuring?

Thanks.

hrmmm.......not sure how we missed this, and unfortunately I don't have an answer for you, but perhaps by replying and bumping it up a bit someone might chime in who can help.

Welcome to the Monkey btw

Thanks for the bump.

I've since found out that a endo/marge combo won't fit (endo on a snowcat will though -- but I'd rather not mess with tolerances that tight).

So, next question -- anybody running those new 29er Snow Cats and/or Umas? Can you give me a tire width so I can check my clearance in the back (Soul Cycles Dillinger) -- I know I'll have tons of clearance in the front.

Tough to think about winter as I sit hear sweating in my 40C top floor office.
