My Moonlender has developed about 0.021" of side play in the cranks. I'm guessing that it's the bottom bracket bearings, so have ordered a new bracket, but it seems an odd way to show wear.

Spindle sliding through bearing inner races, I think. Spindle's integrated with the drive side crank, the other crank's splined with a bearing preload cap (mislabeled cup) to be tightened prior to pinch bolts.
Yeah 12 degree seat tube angle because sitting directly above an axle gives the smoothest ride..........wait, let's add big tyres, a flexy post and tall people can ride in snow shoes.
