if all goes "well" i'll be flying ~4x/week starting soon for 1.5 yrs

a few notes from the story:
"Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 turboprop"
"The first officer was Rebecca Shaw"

Sue Bourque told the newspaper her sister, Beverly Eckert, was aboard the plane. Eckert is the widow of Sean Rooney, who was killed in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center

i guess it doesn't matter that it crashed next to a firehouse.

Hells bells, who did you piss off to get saddled with that?
kinda by choice: i'm pursuing cleared work in the hw/network sector to become a complete asset. i've been mostly sittin on my cheeks for 14 months & the axe is going to start swingin.

if i ever come out to yakota, maybe we can flog each other with homeless teens.

barring any fiery crashes, of course

I saw this story early this morning and took note since I am originally from Buffalo. Then more details were given and I read the part Beverly Eckert. Beverly is my mother's cousin. I have only met her once or twice, but still I didn't expect this accident to hit so close to home.

You ever come through Seattle for a stint, we gots plenty of homeless teens here...or so I've heard.

That, and beer. Lots of beer.

As for "a complete asset"...I believe there's an extra "et" on the end of that...
