HAs this ever been covered?? Ha! Anyway, different type of question. Having never run a rigid fork on a two6, I really don't know, last night we were bangin on a wallride with a sharp angular transition from the sloped wall to the ground. A few times I booted off the wall far enough out to land front wheel right in that transition. The bike felt like it basically stopped dead each time, I had to fight to keep from losing grip and letting the wheel turn and get folded. I've only got 70mm of travel in my Z1, and it's fairly stiff. But is it the suspension doing this and would a cromo be better, or is it just the big rubber providing too much leverage? Having jammed my 66 on my DH rig into the backside of some pretty square edged rocks and ledges, I know the feeling. Of course a rigid on that would end with me licking dirt...
