Thought it would be interesting to have a thread to discuss suspension setup issues and what suspension settings (or other changes) could be made to address the problem.
Example:
Problem: My front wheel keeps washing out on high speed flat corners
Potential solution:
- Increase rebound
- Bars cold be too low thus not being able to weigh the front end properly.
- Increase rear shock pressure/increase spring rate
- Increase rear compression setting (propedal on if Fox)
- Reduce front fork pressure
- Reduce Fork compression
- Reduce Font tire pressure
Another Example:
Question: the rear end of my bike tends to buck when I hit a 2' kicker at 20+ mph. What adjustments do I need to play with on my rear shock? is that considered HS or LS?
