Just finished the Su 100 race last night (Saturday). 100 miles, high of ~15, low of zero. Long miles, but 6 checkpoints, so you are never all that far from something. Good training for my 300 mile ride in 2 weeks. Even better, didn't get lost this time and no nerve damage!

Back home from a trip to visit the wife's family. Small town of 10,000 and they have the most amazing indoor sport complex - socialism in full swing!

Also pick up this huge old buxwood for free that filled up the entire trunk of the XC60 and gave me some lower back pain from getting it there it was so damn heavy but its planted in my garden and first part of screen off the year from the street as we have quite a bit of foot traffic and people who will stop and stare into our garden.

After being sick for two week I hope to finally hit the gym and cough out the last of the cold today.

Let's talk about the Fedex guy. So we had this very gay Fedex guy in my neighborhood for years. Really cool dude, I liked him. I was selling stuff online at that point so he'd be by often. The funny thing was he'd wear Daisy Duke shorts every day. Now I'm not an expert on Fedex's dress codes, but I am fairly sure your ass cheeks aren't supposed to hang out. So he's picking up one day and we are chatting, so I ask him "Hey man, what's up with those shorts? They let you wear those?" and he replies "No, I change into these after I leave the depot, you won't tell, will you?"

No, you goddam glorious bastard, I'll never tell.

Bought new monitors for my home “music studio.” Really nice sounding stuff, but I’ve now got 3 pairs of speakers in my living room.

Also bought a new power supply for my collection of effects pedals.

Today, I get to make noise. And then do cardio. Then make noise. But first, coffee.

In hell. Welcome!
Adam A7X. It’s nice to hear details, even in the lows, without crushing volume.

What plans are you using for your design? Are you adding a high/mid crossover?
It is a totally ghetto job. Celestion posted reference design for the speaker on the website https://celestion.com/speakerworld/irs/220/BUILD_THIS:_F12-X200_1x12_Cabinet_Design/
but I am too fucking lazy to build the whole thing from scratch so I am taking this approach instead:

It might sound like ass but for $30, I am not too worried if it does. :D

Interesting. Wonder how the dimensions sit relative to an “optimized” Thiele Small parameter design. I’m thinking a FRFR for guitar is potentially going to sound odd, but for $30 and some build time, you’re not gonna have much downside.

This is for my Kamper that simulates cabs and that has a power section designed for FRFR speakers. Yeah, Celestion unfortunately did not publish the Thiele Small parameters for the speaker, and my enclosure is a bit smaller than their reference design, but I believe at the volumes I play it will be fine.

$30 is just the cost of wood. The F12X200 was additional $175 and I can eventually mount it anywhere.

Forgot about the Kemper. I figured you were running some sort of cab sim. And I assumed a cost of the driver was part of the build, but it’s obviously reusable or something to sell.

Good luck!

At Copper. Didn’t see @SkaredShtles’s tag until now so skied solo. Good snow but can’t see shit up high!

For locals: finally got up to Tucker Mountain. Also hit Copper Bowl a few times but got the best face shots on Union Peak, back towards Rendezvous up high on the ridge after Sierra and the Poma or coming from the backside.

Good enough for 7th. Went too hard in the beginning again, but there were a bunch of people I was riding with around 30 and 40 mile marks that fell way off, like from the front to 20+. You gotta plan for the long term and force yourself to keep going/moving. Some are still on the trail right now.
