in light of the mad palin bashing going on in the media by the mccain camp, cnn had this article up.

favorite part

"Those were taken out of context and that's cruel," Palin said. "It's mean-spirited. It's immature. It's unprofessional and those guys are jerks if they came away with it, taking things out of context, and then tried to spread something on national news."

this coming after their entire campaign was pretty much based on trying to blow up out of context obama quotes and spreading it on national news to make him look bad.
karmas a bitch.

im also a fan of the same people who spent the last two months+ trying to sell her as a viable candidate and defend her, now telling everyone shes a complete moron and totally unfit to wipe anyone ass, much less run the country. country first my ass.

just a reminder that a lot of these allegations are coming from the McCain campaign's former staff, and even though I hate Palin's beliefs vigorously, the sources aren't exactly trustworthy

Rush was defending Palin on Fox about an hour ago on "On the Record". If she's good enough for Rush, she's good enough for me.

the thing is it doesnt even matter if they are true. she's claimed they were taken out of context, so she mustve actually said something along those lines. whether shes actually that stupid or these guys were just trying to set her up to be, she's bitching about taking quotes out of context to make someone look bad, which is exactly what her campaign did for months.

It really isn't about the content of the allegations or even how really stupid is Palin.

The bottom line is this: I believe this isn't a disgruntled jerk-off in the McCain campaign, but premeditated payback for disloyalty and diva-ness.

Loyalty is probably the most important quality for political staff. I saw people's integrity sacrificed to keep McCain in the running. So for someone to say something bad about Palin is stunning.

I still think the final straw was trying to speak at concession speech. If this whole campaign is about getting McCain in the White House, then he is only person that needs to say something.

She also said they were false allegations, in any case, it is just rumors at this point. As much as I would like to believe that she is that stupid, the sources aren't that good.

I don't trust Carl Cameron and his Page Six revelations, but given the spin, (I noticed both Palin and Nicolle Wallace, a top McCain adviser and an ex-analyst for CBS, mention diet soda specifically when discussing Palin's unreasonable demands, an obvious clue to the spin), you will never get her to admit her weaknesses directly.

But given she has done almost no interviewing during the campaign, that was indicator enough she was incompetent.

We may never get a smoking gun interview, because if I don't believe she will run for President, but she will have to interview with the big boys, Brokaw and Lehrer, and she won't be able to wink her way out or have McCain sit at her side.

pretty much the aides look like morons either way. even if she looks stupid, they were the ones who picked her and tried to sell her to the voters.

she'll never make president because she couldnt make it through the primaries. im sure the other candidates were tear her apart.
