I'm looking to put a Swinger 3 way on my Tracer. I like the Fox Float RL I have on there now. What kind of difference in there on the shocks, and how does it improve the ride?
I've ridden the 5th element(based on the same curnutt valving) and the fox R on my Heckler. I haven't decided which one I like better. The 5th seems to be more sensitive and definitly pedals better, it also hooks up bettter on the climbs. The fox is more lively and ramps up rather well. For street, dirt jumping and general debauchery I'd recommend the fox. For ripping through the rocks at mach 1 I'd go with the 5th.
hey i personally love the 4-way air i have on my VT. i don't much care for fox any longer. they break too much and in really bad ways. i say get the 3-way unless you can dish the money out for the 4-way. which has the volume adj which i tell is very important!
