i cant get the coil off my swinger 4 way how do i do it???

Well - loosen the preload collar all the way, and then keep loosening it until you have backed it off the spring about 2 inches or so. Then grab the baseplate that is under the eyelet where the rebound adjuster is and push it down until i pops off. It fits into a lip that is milled around the circumference of a small round metal plate that is inside the basplate the spring rests on. After you do that, just pull it off - the notch is what makes this possible.

If you are doing all of this and still no go - it means either the baseplate is jammed, or the preload collar is frozen.
