Holy cats - - my world is unraveling a bit. My favorite component company in the whole world is under new ownership as of Jan. 3. (ignorant me, I didn't find out until I went to their web site tonight).

Ritchey Design sold Syncros to Scott Sports. Looks like they're going to branch out of their gravity emphasis and add more XC goods and even road components. I presume that means no more "born and bred on the 'Shore" . . . but all the same, I wish them the best.

That it will. Will be interesting to see if production all goes to house-brand supply or if it keeps an aftermarket presence. I think I'm just mourning the loss of my source of supply.

I'm with him ^^^ The house brand stuff that came on my Voltage was pretty nice considering the price point. Pretty sure Ben Walker does a lot of testing for syncros and Scott maybe that's where the relationship/idea came out?
I didn't have anything to do with Scott buying Syncros but I am pretty happy they did. I have been riding Syncros parts for a long time and I am definitely a big fan.
