Yeah - well some of us are coming in WAY below the new deduction limits. Mainly because our mortgage is ALMOST PAID OFF.not true.
Why in the FUCK do they continue to insist on putting fucking BELTS in engines for this?yeah I am hoping my block is OK
Damn, man - that's pretty big. 1st I'd heard of it...Holy fuck that was a bad earthquake, 7.0. My place seems to be fine with internet and power, but many people are not right now.
Don't let the Tsunami getchya!Fucking aftershocks are unreal though (like you just want to relax but you can't).
Amen sister! Why in the FUCK do they continue to insist on putting fucking BELTS in engines for this?
.
last 2 years we've been above what the new standard deduction is, so we'll probably still be itemizing.Yeah - well some of us are coming in WAY below the new deduction limits. Mainly because our mortgage is ALMOST PAID OFF.
But, to your point, YMMV.![]()
Holy shit. Taco joint is fucking PACKED. I think we have a winner!!
Never pay attention to that, unless you are 5-10 feet from sea level, not a concern.Don't let the Tsunami getchya!
Yeah, that was kind of the joke. Hope you are OK.Never pay attention to that, unless you are 5-10 feet from sea level, not a concern.
Because they are substantially more efficient for milage and power out put.Why in the FUCK do they continue to insist on putting fucking BELTS in engines for this?
My old 'belt' was actually a chain, now that I think about it.Because they are substantially more efficient for milage and power out put.
Just change them at the 90-100k range and they won't break on you. It's a standard maintenance item, and it's listed in the manual when to change them.
I got HORRIBLE news today, our local incredible taco joint is closing up shop...The sub-$6.50 lunch:View attachment 131712
Technically speaking the block should be okay. But if its an interference engine, the valvetrain could be pooched... You know, the expensive bit of an engine.yeah I am hoping my block is OK
Cheap...Why in the FUCK do they continue to insist on putting fucking BELTS in engines for this?
Because profit? I did the belt on my 300zx and that was the last belt I did myself. Not sure a chain would be an option on that motor. Why in tne FUCK do they continue to insist on putting fucking BELTS in engines for this?
Dude. That's how Real Tacos to Go™ get packaged. Cheap as all shit, yo!#likethetacos

Between a buck and a buck fiddy for the real trucks here. There is a sort of truck in town with odd hours that is pretty good. I miss the trucks in Beaverton and Hillsboro, though. Legit. The sub-$6.50 lunch:View attachment 131712
Didn't some of the "S" models have timing chains in the *rear* of the engine? I thought I read that somewhere...I mean look at what Audi did with timing chains...
Tacos are $3-4.00 here. JH prices.Between a buck and a buck fiddy for the real trucks here. There is a sort of truck in town with odd hours that is pretty good. I miss the trucks in Beaverton and Hillsboro, though. Legit.
I've come to the realization that I *always* want tacos.<snip>
Fuck now I want tacos.
I was on the exit from the Bay Bridge going into Oakland.fucking day from hell... needless to say i took the backroads home and pushed the C280 sport to the edge a couple of times as a stress reliever.....
JM I was a mile from the epicenter of the 7.1 Loma Prieta 1989 earthquake....anything in the 7s is one hell of a hairball ride. glad you made it through unscathed. The aftershocks in the middle of the night can be unnerving. Keep a headlamp in the bed under the covers where it can't get lost on the floor: if another big one/ aftershock hits and you hear a loud structural cracking noise and you need light to bail....
Supervisor at Pizza My Heart in Capitola. Wooden building on pilings on the beach. Major Liquefaction and shaking. Door jams were swaying off kilter 20 to 30 * the pizza ovens were bouncing in the air. We got tossed round like rag dolls. When the shaking stopped we ran outside were immediately covered in dust from the collapse of the sea cliff down by the movie theater. We got the hell up to high ground as soon as we got the gas shut off to all the restaurants on the row. Riding my bike home you could see the smoke from the fires in Santa Cruz and Watsonville. Fucking intenseI was on the exit from the Bay Bridge going into Oakland.
Haven't been back over that bridge since.
Hand made dough, hand thrown, brick ovens, hand made Pesto sauce, hand made tomato sauce, whole milk mozarella. damn good NY style pizza. our motto; pizza for people with the munchies by people with the munchiesYeah, but was the Pizza any good?![]()
