Last year, the Tahoe Bike Games started with 3 races, using the golf course at the Lake Tahoe Golf Club just outside Meyers. The gang brought it back this year, upping it to 5 races with one being on the north side of Tahoe in August.
Nothing like a night ride/race, ripping through the rough/fairways/sand traps of a golf course. 2-- 3mile laps for most racers/riders (young-uns did 1 lap), and there was a 7yo girl out doing the event!! No timing, placing awards, raffle, and speciality awards to boot.
No, it's not Whistler/Mammoth/Downieville/etc, yet it was a simple, fun night to get out and ride.....
