CELEBRATE IMBA’S TAKE A KID MOUNTAIN BIKING DAY ON SUNDAY OCT. 4TH 2009.
This is a great opportunity for you to pass on your passion for pedaling on to kids. Plan to go mountain biking at DuPont State Forest, North Carolina - and bring a kid along for the ride!

Where: Guion Farm (Sky Valley Rd.) - Dupont State Forest, NC

What:Beginner Kids Ride - Kids Loop Trail and Skills Area & Intermediate Kids Ride - White Pines Rd. > Ridgeline Tr. >
Jim Branch Tr. > Buck Forest Rd. Hot Dogs & Hamburgers Cookout Following the Rides.

I would like to go but have to work. I normally take my 8 year old son out there once a week. He enjoys riding the ladders.(So do I)

last year we had kids of all ages,

is a 3 yr old gonna make the intermediate ride on Ridgeline and Jim Branch prolly not.

but the first hour or so was spent playing in the skills area, this year we've got the pump track to play on as well.... then it was hot chocolate time, then we did... the bigger ride...

It is bring a kid , bring a bike and have some fun... all welcome to attend. don't have to be a club member.
