Taking out SPV on Slider +

The leg with the SPV won't seem to come out. I've taken everything else off but that.

The fork is locked out as well, on the spv side. This happened a few weeks ago after I got the fork (I bought it used) and I tested it out. I can slide the stantion down a inch or so before it stops, then when I go to try and pull it out, it just seizes up.

Any tips? I couldn't find anything in the service manual.

To take the lowers off? You need to remove the tiny screw from the bottom of the leg which holds on the damper knob, remove the knob and I think its a 12mm hex in that and turn clockwise until it's undone. Then let the oil flow onto your shoe and undo the top cap, set it aside. Remove the foot bolt on the other side and make sure the inner shaft is loose. Pull the sliders, lower legs off. More oil falls to the floor. Then you unscrew a plastic cap from the bottom of the right stanchion, now the damper guts will come out.

Same thing happened to me when I took apart a Stance. Took 10 weeks to get something, and only after a bunch of calls.

It turns the other way eh. It gets screwed on from the inside so you turn the wrench clockwise and it goes into the lowers and then lets go. I know of a few who have damaged the threads by turning the wrong way too hard or overtightening. You might need new lowers if you inadvertantly stripped it.
