Avoiding the nine to five
Ok, so I'm in Melbourne Australia and I had an adventure two nights ago. I think you will get a kick out of it, hell some can probably relate to it.

The other night we went out to find some bars that wouldn't be full of Americans. After about an hour of walking we came across a very sketchy building with a neon sign that said "Open Now". Well Kelsey wanted to see if it was a bar and so another one of our group ran up to look inside. She came back and said that she couldn't see in, it was a mirror, not a window on the door. Kelsey and I decide to walk up and try to open the door, it's locked(but they are "open now"?). As we turn to leave the door opens, standing there in the red light is a thin blonde lady smoking a cigarette. As she takes a long draw she asks us "Can I help you?". I look inside and notice that the first room is open and inside is a bed covered in pillows. I muttered "No, I think we have the wrong place". Kelsey says "I don't think this is what we were looking for". Next the lady eyes us down and asks in a sultry voice, "What were you looking for?"...I respond "Uh, bars?". She looks at me, coughs, and says "Sorry, only brothels here". "Sh!t!", I perform a quick u-turn and run down the steps. We went back to the American filled bars. Night one....truly a success

P.S. Because I know I'm gonna get crap for missing out on a 3-some oppurtunity from at least one of you(Burly), I hooked up with Kelsey last night, it made up for it and cost nothing :thumb:

I spent an month in Australia in March. It was one of the best times I've had in my life. I flew into Sydney, then flew up to Cairns, made my way down the coast, and ended in Melbourne.

The things I didn't like: Stinging plants, The Evil Box Jellyfish, and The Large Spiders. Other than that, it was a great experience.
