So I just bought a Banshee Spitfire, which runs a zero stack (44mm HT ID) top and a normal 1.5 bottom. I've already got a pair of e.13 cups without an IS headset to go in them. I ordered a Cane Creek ZS3 top cup, but I still need a bearing and a crown race for the bottom. Am I right in thinking that I could, in theory, buy a 110 IS, slap one bearing in the bottom, and drop the other into the other bearing in place of the cheap one that came in the ZS3? I think this should work because the IS-3 and ZS-3 bearings appear to be the same, and since the IS standard means the bearings just drop into the frame, if the IS-3 bearing fits in the ZS3 cup, so must the 110 IS bearing. Yes?
