Any issues/concerns running a fork with a straight steerer on a frame with a tapered HT?

Thinking about doing this on both a trail bike and an XC racer.

I am doing this on my Enduro with a Cane Creek headset. No issues.

I have a straight steer tube in a tapered headset with no problems, just make sure you have the right race/bottom cup set up and you shouldn't run into any problems.

depending on the combination, you might even be able to achieve a lower stack height than if you were using tapered fork in a tapered tube..
