As part of my job I ended up transporting an elderly woman to her husbands funeral today. When they brought the casket out of the mortuary is was draped with the American Flag. Dominic Cola fought as a Marine at Iwo Jima. The Corp had an honor guard waiting for us at graveside. My eyes teared up saluting while Taps played. Thank you for my freedom mr Cola.

Taps makes everyone emotional, such is the power of music. One tin soldier does it too.

I will never forget seeing my dad tear up when they folded up the flag that was on his father's casket. First and only time I've ever seen that side of him. Powerful ****.

My grandfather was an anti-aircraft gunner in the army during WWII. Taps was played with the flag ceremony at his funeral last year. Definitely brought a tear to your eye...
